Coming from America I was very excited to find yummy Cornish honey and I tried a few different companies and nothing compares to this amazing company! The honeys flavor is deep and rich and absolutely amazing!!!! I use it in teas and on toast as well as making tinctures and medicines with it. The taste as well as the medicinal properties are truly wonderful! I am so so happy to get my honey from them! They also have the most lush and clean candles from beeswax. I bought a couple and what a special treat it is to find well priced beautifully clean made candles ❤️

Really lovely honey and it is local to the area. Fragrant taste I have it every morning on my yogurt and fruit.
I originally called them about bees in my back garden and put my mind at rest. Very informative and let me know the honey was on sale @cafe on the park in West hoe. Delicious cake and bacon butties!

What a great service. Phoned Mark as I had bees swarming around our chimney. Mark suggested that he came out 2 days later to give the bees time to settle. When he visited he informed me that he was sure that the bees had moved on, but said that he would put a camera down the chimney to confirm. All very interesting and reassuring. Thank you Mark.

I have ordered various jars of golden deliciousness over the years. Always comes well packed and promptly delivered. As for the honey, well I’m not telling as I want it all for myself.

Olga is such a wonderful and knowledgeable human who has so much passion and love for what she does. I have learnt so much about their bees. The jar of honey I had I could literally taste the flowers! I cannot wait to try more. X

Had an absolutely fantastic time with the lovely Mark & Olga on our Black Dog Honey-bee experience. Hubby & me utterly fascinated and absorbed from beginning to end. Thought we would be just observing, but under Mark's expert supervision who was so patient with us novices, we got to handle the frames and inspect the queens on a lovely balmy Sunday afternoon. We are still 'buzzing' about this unforgettable experience. This was time and money well-spent. Can't recommend highly enough.

What a fantastic afternoon we had! Mark was extremely knowledgable and we had a great time getting some hands on experience with the bees! We’ve always been intrigued by the idea of bee keeping and this day just added fuel to that fire! Would highly recommend, and thank you both so much for the lovely gifts at the end to top it all off!

Mark was recommended to us by the local bee association, when I called them regarding a swarm of bees around our chimney stack, that were getting into our boiler.He was friendly , polite and professional, giving us helpful advice . The swarm moved on naturally but he came to visit, checked the bees had all gone and advised us on the best course of action moving forward. We are very grateful for his expertise, and shall be sourcing the award winning black dog honey to try. Thanks Mark!

I had a fabulous day with Mark learning lots about the art of beekeeping, much of which you could only learn from an expert with hand on experience too. I would recommend this day to anyone with either an interest in beekeeping or for those with a serious intent to start their own hives. A full on day that passes really quickly 👍

Booked an experience for my daughter and her wife, Mark and Olga are fantastic the communication we had was second to none, their personal touch and how they went out of their way to make sure I received the birthday card suprise card on time, as was a last minute booking was just so thoughtful. My girls had such a brilliant experience they could not speak more highly of them, their knowledge of not just bee's, nature, flowers, land etc was so informative the girls were so impressed they can't wait till they go again. The certificates, the honey (oh my daz, tastes beautiful). The girls and I highly recommend Black Dog Honey.

I recently had the pleasure of participating in the beekeeping experience, and it was truly extraordinary! From start to finish, the experience was both educational and exhilarating.
Mark and Olga are very knowledgeable and passionate they made the day unforgettable with their deep understanding of bee behavior and their genuine love for these incredible creatures.
We started with an informative session about the importance of bees in our ecosystem, which was eye-opening. Then, we suited up in our bee suits and got up close and personal with the hives.
The thrill of seeing the inner workings of a hive and witnessing the bees in action was beyond anything I had imagined.
They both were patient, answering all my questions and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout the process.
One of the highlights was getting to taste fresh honey straight from the hive—an experience that was both delicious and unique.
The care and attention that Black Dog Honey Bees puts into their work is evident, and their dedication to sustainable beekeeping practices is commendable.
I highly recommend the beekeeping experience with Black Dog Honey Bees to anyone interested in nature, conservation, or simply looking for a unique and enriching activity.

Can’t recommend Black Dog Honey Bees enough. I’ve tried lots of their honey and it’s made great gifts and great additions to the cupboards! I love following them on social media and seeing where they pop up around Devon and Cornwall at fairs. You will not be disappointed when you see all that they have to offer. Today I have a lovely candle to try. I’m once again, a very happy customer!
